گروه “”We the kings ” یک گروه راک آمریکایی (ایالت فلوریدا) است که در کار خود را برای اولین بار در اکتبر ۲۰۰۷ شروع کردند. اعضای این گروه ۵ نفر وشامل این افراد می باشد:

Danny Duncan
Coley O’Toole
Charles Trippy

آهنگ  “Sad song”  یا  “آهنگ غمگین”  آهنگی زیبا از آلبوم “somewhere somehow”  است که  گروه  We the kings  به همراه  Elena Coats  در سال ۲۰۱۳ ارائه کردند. Elena Coats نیز خواننده، و ترانه سرای آمریکایی از ایالت آیداهو می باشد.
