The lyrics of this song (The heart wants what it wants) by Selena Gomez:

When I was on, I was on stage and I was thinking of…
I felt like I know, I know him though and I know his heart and I know what he wouldn’t do to hurt me.
But I didn’t realize that feeling so confident
Feeling so great about myself,
and then it just be completely shattered by one thing, by something so stupid.

Shatterbreak to pieces, splinter, smash; be broken into pieces; damage, harm; ruin, destroy

But then you make me feel crazy, you make me feel like it’s my fault
I was in pain.

You got me sippin on something
Sip (sipping): take a small drink, drink a small amount of liquid
get to do something: to reach the point at which you feel, know, are, etc. something

I can’t compare to nothing
I’ve ever known, I’m hoping
That after this fever I’ll survive
I know I’m acting a bit crazy
Strung out, a little bit hazy
Strung out: draw out; extend; prolong; spread out, stretch in a line or series (as houses in a long row) – make something extend over a great distance or over a long period of time

Hand over heart, I’m praying
That I’m gonna make it out alive
The bed’s getting cold and you’re not here
The future that we hold is so unclear
But I’m not alive until you call
And I’ll bet the odds against it all
odds: strange; irregular; random; extra, unusual or unexpected
to bet the odds: to gamble a smaller stake to win a larger one
against all oddsDespite being very likely to fail –  in spite of great difficulties or problems; although it seemed impossible

Save your advice ’cause I won’t hear
You might be right but I don’t care
There’s a million reasons why I should give you up
give upgive way, concede, stop trying; stop doing something; despair of, cease making an effort; admit defeat.

But the heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
You got me scattered in pieces
scattersprinkle, disseminate; spread, disperse; be sprinkled

Shining like stars and screaming
screamyell, shout, cry; howl, laugh uncontrollably

Lighting me up like Venus
light upbecome bright, (of the face or eyes) suddenly display liveliness or joy, become illuminated

But then you disappear and make me wait
And every second’s like torture
torture: inflict excruciating pain, torment, agonize, abuse; ill-treatment, maltreatment, persecution.

Hell over trip, no more so
Finding a way to let go
Baby, baby, no I can’t escape
escape: run away, flee; leak out; find shelter, find protection

The bed’s getting cold and you’re not here
The future that we hold is so unclear
But I’m not alive until you call
And I’ll bet the odds against it all
Save your advice ’cause I won’t hear
You might be right but I don’t care
There’s a million reasons why I should give you up
But the heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
This is a modern fairy tale
No happy endings
No wind in our sails
But I can’t imagine a life without
Breathless moments
Breaking me down, down, down, down
break down: break, collapse under its own weight; spoil, decompose

The bed’s getting cold and you’re not here
The future that we hold is so unclear
But I’m not alive until you call
And I’ll bet the odds against it all
Save your advice ’cause I won’t hear
You might be right but I don’t care
There’s a million reasons why I should give you up
But the heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants, baby
It wants what it wants, baby
It wants what it wants
It wants what it wants
The heart wants what it wants, baby
It wants what it wants
