Human gets acquainted with a new experience in their life from very early childhood when they open their mouth to speak and utters the first words learned from the surrounding environment. This new experience changes the surrounding people and especially the child’s parents, which causes the so-called mother tongue to be recorded in the baby’s brain.
The child’s abilities and skills also develop rapidly by growing up and his development which will make both the child and those around him/her especially his parents happy. The ability to learn language by the child is one of the most important dreams of the child’s parents in early childhood. The child’s ability to say some words such as the names of his parents affects the parents so much. Communicating with other people, especially those who do not speak the same language, increasingly becomes needed more and more along human growth.
The human ability to communicate through a common language seems necessary, especially in the current civilized world where communication has become much wider than before. A common language that people can communicate with all human beings in all parts of the world is a necessity for them. A language that facilitates all ethnic, national, geographical, and cultural obstacles. Once a foreign language was considered only to solve some limited needs and problems, but nowadays it is a means to create scientific, educational, political, economic, and cultural communication, etc. and it seems to be more necessary than at any other time.
English is the common international language that is used nowadays by many people all over the world. It is the most comprehensive common language in human society due to its widespread usage among all international communities. It is a common language that is used in all international forums and communities. All specialists in all scientific, educational, political, economic, cultural, … fields need to learn and use it to communicate together. Most of the press, mass communication networks, and satellite TV channels in most parts of the world use the English language. For example, in India, more than 3000 magazines and newspapers are printed in English. The important satellite news channels, including “BBC, CNN, and Bloomberg,” broadcast programs in English. In fact, the official language of world news and information is English. Nearly 80% of websites, 70% of emails, and 75% of teletexts are published in English. In addition, all scientific-educational books and materials with a broad audience are either written and printed in English or translated into English.
The importance and the necessity of learning English as the common language of human beings in a world mixed with technology and communication cannot be overstated. On the one hand, the importance of learning this language, and the existence of fundamental weaknesses in many English training systems, affect learning it. The need to learn English is more important, especially for professionals, academics, and students.
Many people need to learn English in language schools in order to be fluent in it, due to the existence of many weaknesses in the educational system in many countries. Unfortunately, the learning process has become a business affair in many language schools, and the principle of language learning has undergone many changes under the influence of the commercial perspective of business-oriented language schools. On the other hand, most of the people who need to learn the language are busy with work or studies. Time is matter for these people, so saving time is very important.
