Let’s Go English book series

The Let’s Go English book series is published internationally by Oxford University Press. They are great books for teaching English to children 6 – 14 years old who are not English native speakers.

The Let’s Go English book series includes 8 books and was published by Oxford University Press. They are one of the best books for kids to learn the English language.  These books are suitable for children 7 years old and above who have learned their mother tongue or the official language of their country in school. If the children know how to read and write in their mother tongue or the official language, they can start this book to start Learning English. Please note that this series is not recommended for children under school age because they have not started school and they don’t know how to read and write in their language.

Children familiar with the alphabet of their mother tongue or the official language of their country at school can learn English much better than younger children. Because the basis of education in this book series starts with understanding the alphabet and how to read and write it. If the child has not learned the way of writing in school already, it can lead to boredom and fatigue, which may make them hate learning the English language in the future. Children will learn how to write the English alphabet and then write some simple words. They can also read and learn some simple conversational words and sentences, in the “Let’s Go” book series.

There are 8 “Let’s Go” books in this series. The name of the first 2 books is “Let’s Begin” while it was named “Let’s Go Starter” before. These 2 books are usually taught in 2 or 4 semesters. The other 6 books are taught in 12 semesters; every book needs 2 semesters to be completed. So, it takes up to 16 semesters for the Let’s Go” book series to be completed. The “Let’s Go” book series that we want to teach you are 5th Edition series.

The first LG book series, “Let’s Begin 1” contains 28 lessons, almost every lesson is related to a letter of the English alphabet, although the letters are not included in the usual order in the lessons of this book, and the order is unusual, and with the related lessons It starts with vowels and then continues with lessons on consonants.

There are 4 words in every lesson of the “Let’s Begin 1” book to teach the children. These words start with the letter which the lesson is about. The first word is the name of a person in English.  The 4 words that are taught in every lesson, contain 1 person’s name and 3 other simple words.  Each lesson of the book “Let’s Begin 1” contains 2 pages; The first page is related to the teaching of 4 simple words, and the second page is about some simple conversational sentences. In other words, in each lesson of the book “Let’s Begin 1”, one English alphabet letter, one English proper noun (boy’s name or girl’s name), three simple words, and one or more simple conversational sentences are taught. By completing the book, all the alphabet letters and the simple conversational sentences are taught to children, while they will be able to write English alphabet letters at the same time.
